We’re happy to announce that the registration for this term’s HCI Seminar is now open. The task for this term is the conception, prototyping, and evaluation of “mobile e-participation” applications.
Recently, governments around the world try to improve methods how to integrate citizens in the public decision making processes. They aim to introduce new methods to broaden the scope of involved citizens as well as to encourage those previously less eager to participate, such as younger generations. Easy and attractive to use mobile applications can help achieve these aims.
In the seminar you’ll have the opportunity to develop a prototypical innovative e-participation application for a mobile platform utilising a user-centered design process. We provide a methodological framework and you can show your creativity in the practical implementation.
If you’re interested in participating, please visit the course website for further information about the topic, schedule and registration.
We would be happy to welcome you in our seminar.
